Here is a hybrid image of The Cave Nebula from two very different scopes. The original image created by T.A. Rector (University of Alaska Anchorage) and H. Schweiker (WIYN and NOAO/AURA/NSF) has been creatively modified by myself from the NM Skies Remote Observatories with an RCOS 16". The Mayall narrowband data was used to create a synthetic Luminance and the RCOS LRGB was used as the the RGB to create the final image. This was a 4 panel mosaic from the Mayall 4 meter on Kitt Peak. I used their heavy HA rich data and blended in my LRGB to get a very detal rich image with a more LRGB look.
